Turkey´s Aegean coast is beautiful and historical housing some of the most important cultural heritages and most splendid sceneries in the world. You will visit Istanbul, Gallipolli, Troy, Pergamon, Pamukkale and Ephesus.
The tour is available with a daily departure during the whole year. This is a tailor made (hybrid) tour itinerary through which the transportation is provided by major bus companies.
Day 1 : Arrival to Istanbul : One of our colleagues will be waiting for you at the arrival hall bearing a sign with your name on it. You will be greeted by a courteous member of our staff who will load your luggage into our midi-van and take you directly to your hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.
Day 2 : Istanbul City Tour : Pick up time is about 08.30 from the hotel. You will visit : Topkapi Palace (Harem section is extra), Blue Mosque, Roman Hippodrome. After lunch you will see: St.Sophia Museum, Basilica Cistern (Underground Water Palace), Million stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery, Cemberlitas (Burnt Column) and the tour ends about 16:30 with free time at the Grand Bazaar. You will be advised by your guide for getting back to your hotel on your own. Please note that Hagia Sophia closed on Mondays, Topkapi Palace closed on Tuesdays and Grand Covered Bazaar closed on Sundays. (lunch on the tour) - Accommodation in Istanbul
Day 3 : Golden Horn & Bosphorus Cruise : Pick up time is about 08:30 from your hotel. You will visit : Suleymaniye Mosque, City Walls, Chora Church and Pierre Loti Hill. After lunch you will see Rustem Pasha Mosque, Spice Bazaar and Bosphorus Cruise by boat. Return back to the hotel about 18:00. Please note that Chora Church is closed on Wednesday. Day 4 : Departure from Istanbul and Gallipolli Trip : You will be picked up from your hotel at 06:30 – 07:00 am and drive Eceabat which takes about 5 hours for full day Gallipolli Tour. You will visit : Kabatepe War Museum, Beach Cemetery (John Simpson´s Grave), ANZAC Cove, Ari Burnu (First ANZAC landing place), Lone Pine Cemetery (Australian memorial), Johnston´s Jolly (Walk in the ANZAC trenches), View Shrapnel Valley, Turkish Memorial, The Nek and Walker´s Ridge, Chunuk Bair (Main New Zealand memorial). (lunch on the tour). After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel. Accommodation in Eceabat.
Day 5 : Troy and Pergamon Tour : Pick up from the hotel at 08.30 am for the tour of Ancient Troy. It is one of the most important ancient cities in the world and very popular by the book of Homer´s Ilyada. A great mythological and historical background attracted many scientist, archeologists, adventurer and treasure hunters. You will be served a lunch pack and then drive to Pergamon, once the ancient world´s major power and center of learning and the arts. Visit the ancient Library, once held 200.000 books, Temple of Athena, Temple of Trojan, Altar of Zeus and the Gymnasium situated on terraces and the lower Agora. Afterwards, you will drive to your hotel in Ephesus area. (breakfast at the hotel and lunch pack on the tour) - Accommodation in Ephesus.
Day 6 : Pamukkale Travertenies and Hierapolis Ancient City : After breakfast, departure Pamukkale about 08.30 am which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertine and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. It is for its resemblance to cotton piles that it is called ´Cotton Castle´ in Turkish. Visit the travertine and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath. Return to the hotel about 19:30. Day 7 : Ephesus and Virgin Mary´s House Tour : The pick up time is 09.00 am from the hotel for full day Ephesus Ancient City and Virgin Mary´s House Tour. You will visit Ephesus which is known to be the Commercial, the Religious and the Social Center of Antiquity, and one of the Highlights of any Visit in Turkey. After the lunch, you will drive to Temple of Artemis (Diana), the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; House of Virgin Mary, probably where She spent recent years of Her life; Isa Bey Mosque, this impressive mosque from XIV. Century A.D. is unlike any other you will see in this country. Return to the hotel about 17.30. You will have some free time after the tour. (breakfast at the hotel and lunch on the tour) - You will be transferred to bus station for the bus departing to Istanbul at 21.00. The journey takes about 10 hrs.
Day 8 : Arrival to Istanbul and End of Tour : Upon your arrival to Istanbul, you can use the free shuttle to get to Sultanahmet or use the metro system to get to Atatürk airport.
